[Interviewer]
How has Covid-19 impacted your daily life? Like, what are some of the changes that you have experienced?
[Bill]
Well it’s definitely inhibited my freedom of movement in public areas
[Interviewer]
So not being able to like, you know...
[Bill]
I really have no personal- in our family and friend circle I… there is nobody who’s contracted Covid-19 that I’m aware of, so it has impacted the freedom of movement in public areas… and freedom of choice.
[Interviewer]
What did you under-appreciate before Covid and what do you really appreciate now?
[Bill]
Um… Freedom of movement!
[Interviewer]
*laughs*
Yeah.
[Bill]
We’re back to that! Because there has been restrictions put in on this whole thing by political process and medical processes that I- that I totally disagree with. I feel that it’s been blown way out of proportion.
[Interviewer]
Yeah… there has been quite a few people who have said that…um...
[Bill]
You ask, I tell you.
[Interviewer]
How do you think the pandemic will change society?
[Bill]
I’m not sure how that will work out, I mean that’s just speculative if I say something, but I… I think It’s teaching people to be more submissive?
[Interviewer]
Really trying to make sure everyone’s lambs, following whatever they’re told.
[Bill]
It’s… It’s… people… people believe too much of what they see in the news media.
[Interviewer]
Um… How has isolation affected you and how has it affected your relationship with, like, family and friends?
[Bill]
Um…
Not so much, with family and friends… and we’ve already been through how it affected me with uh… freedom of movement in public domain so.
[Interviewer]
What pre-Covid memory keeps you hopeful and what possible future keeps you going?
[Bill]
Boy, that’s a tough question if you're asking for speculation of the future, um. I hope that this all um… gets resolved or blows over without uh, having too many new waves of Covid happening. Or the speculative reports that there are new waves.
[Interviewer]
Just hoping it all ends pretty soon.
[Bill]
Well I… I think everybody hopes that it’s over soon, yeah.
